Planning a Marbella hen do isn’t just about partying all night, it’s about making memories the bride will talk about for years. Maybe you’re after a bit of thrill, or maybe you want something more classy and relaxed. Either way, Marbella delivers. Think wandering through the fragrant, sunlit streets of the Old Town or chasing waterfalls up in the wild Sierra de las Nieves. This guide’s got it all mapped out.
Ideas for your Marbella Hen Party
Marbella’s got this rare mix of pure luxury and wild, unspoiled nature you just don’t find everywhere. Most people hunting for Marbella hen do ideas automatically picture the beach clubs or maybe the flashy Puerto Banús scene. While those spots are a must, Marbella really comes alive when you throw a little wild into the glam. If you add in some activities most visitors skip over, your whole group stays lively from the second the sun comes up till it finally goes down.

Tapas Tour
Take your hen party through Marbella Old Town with a guided tapas tour. Visit three of the city’s best-loved authentic restaurants, enjoy a selection of traditional tapas, and toast with a drink at each stop. Our guides bring the city to life with stories about local history, culture, and culinary traditions.

Luxury Picnic
Treat the bride and her squad to a private, beautifully styled picnic. Choose a sun-drenched beach or a quiet mountain spot, and relax on cozy cushions with gourmet food and drinks. Everything is set up for you, so you can simply enjoy the moment. Perfect for photos, laughs, and a little bit of luxury during your hen party.

Canyoning Adventure
For a hen do full of adrenaline, try canyoning in Benahavís. Jump, swim, scramble, and abseil through natural gorges with the help of our experienced guides. All safety gear is provided, and the guides capture the fun so you can relive the adventure afterwards.

Extra Hen Party Fun
Add a quirky twist to your hen do in Marbella with Cheeky Butler for laughs and games, or relax on Barco Bar, a floating cocktail bar. Combine these with the tapas tour, luxury picnic, or canyoning for a full day of adventure, indulgence, and fun here.

Making the most of your Hen Do in Marbella
Attempting to manage around ten to twenty people in a foreign country? Good luck, it's basically herding cats. If you want your weekend to feel more like clinking champagne glasses and less like stress headaches, here's how to set things up.
Transport & Logistics
Almost everyone lands at Malaga Airport (AGP). From there, you’ve got three solid options:
The direct bus: Cheap, clean, brings you directly to the Marbella bus station in about 50 minutes. We’re talking €6-€10, so it’s a no-brainer for budget travellers.
Private transfer: Got a big group? Book a minibus ahead of time. While it can cost it a bit more, the more people, the less the cost per person. They also drop you right at your doorstep, we recommend using Simply Shuttles.
Apps for taxi: While the summer is very busy, Uber and Bolt still work here, there are just longer waits from June to September. For a cheaper option you can also download Cabify.
Timing matters: The peak party season runs June through September. If you want sunshine but can’t deal with crowds (or high rental prices), try April, May, or October. You’ll get gorgeous weather and your group can actually chat in restaurants without shouting.
Go with the flow during your Marbella Hen Party
Here’s the deal, just don’t over-plan. It’s tempting to pack every moment into a spreadsheet, but honestly, the best memories come from the things you didn’t anticipate. Maybe you run into a random street festival, or a quick drink in Marbella’s Old Town turns into an epic deep dive into Spanish culture. Plans change, flights get delayed, boat trips get cancelled, somebody forgets the club’s name. In case things don't follow the plan, go with the flow. Honestly, those last-minute changes become legendary: “Remember that night we couldn’t find the club, but ended up at that tiny tapas bar?” That’s where the magic happens.
